PKR has just announced that they will be holding a PKR High Stakes Championship to follow their successful Small Stakes Championship.  This high stakes championship will being on May 5th and the series includes 5 events with buy-ins ranging from $50 to $500.  All-in-all there will be over $100K up for grabs throughout the series.

Too make sure this series is great value for all players PKR is adding $17.5K in cash and prizes to the tournament series.  The first $12.5K comes in the form of a WSOP prize package, which the top 2 finishers from each event will battle for in the 10-man tournament of champions.  The other $5K is being added to the $50 rebuy event which takes place on May 7th.  This series is sure to be great value and is highly recommended for all players.

Of course the small stake players will still have the opportunity to play with the big boys, with satellites available as little as $2.10.

PKR has added PKR point tournaments to their schedule.  This means you can gamble your PKR poker points at the table, to try to build them up and earn some great prizes at the PKR shop or enter PKR point satellite tournaments.
