Happy Hour
Full Tilt Poker’s happy hour promotion allows players to earn double or triple happy hour points by playing during selected happy hours. There are 4, two hour chunks each day with different playing requirements that allow you to earn double points. On top of this the double points sometimes turn into triple points on special occasions, such as holidays. Iron Man Challenge
The Iron Man Challenge awards loyal and consistent Full Tilt Poker players. To be an Iron Man you have to play poker every day for a number of days in a row in a month. There are four different iron man levels that can be achieved depending on the amount you play and the amount of days in a row you can string together. Bronze status is the easiest to achieve. It can be achieved by earning 50 FTP’s for 20 days in a row or 100 FTP’s for 15 days in a row. There is then silver and gold status which get increasingly harder until you reach IRON status. To reach Iron Man status you must earn 200 FTP’s for 25 days in a row in the same month. If you are able to achieve any of these levels you are rewarded. First of all you earn Iron Man medals. You earn 25 medals for Bronze, up to 100 medals for Iron status. If you are able to string together consecutive months of an Iron Man status you earn more medals each month. Your medals can be used in the Iron Man store or converted into FTP’s. The other way your are rewarded is through a freeroll tournament. The freeroll tournaments are as follows:
Bronze Status = $10K Freeroll
Silver Status = $15K Freeroll
Gold Status = $20K Freeroll
Iron Man Status = $30K Freeroll
If you win any of these tournaments you are entered into a 4-man sit and go for an additional $5,000. The winner of the sit and go moves on to play 3 Full Tilt red pros heads up. You earn $5,000 for each pro you beat and if you go 3 for 3 you earn $50K.
If you don’t’ want to play the freerolls you can also convert your freeroll entries into additional Iron Man medals.
Bust-Out Bounties
If you think the expected value of a tournament goes down when you see that a Full Tilt pro is registered, think again. Every pro that enters a tournament with 30 or more players becomes a bounty for the amount of the tournament, up to a maximum of $200. This means you get a great story about knocking out a Full Tilt pro, plus you get your buy-in back, so you can’t lose!
The Doubles
Full Tilt has 3 doubles challenges every day. There is the $5 early double, the $10 daily double and the $60 big double. There are two tournaments in each of these doubles and the challenge is to do well in both of the tournaments at the same time. If you are able to do well you will receive a portion of the daily double jackpot. For example if you win both tournaments you win 75% of the jackpot, or if you just cash in both tournaments you share 3% of the jackpot with all other double cashers. These tournaments have double the normal fees, which goes towards the jackpots.
FTOPS
FTOPS series are held every couple of months at Full Tilt Poker. There are usually a lineup of about 20 events each with huge prize pools. There are always a lot of red Full Tilt pros in these events and a lot of money to be won. Full Tilt sends a gold jersey to all winners of FTOPS events, plus a FTOPS jacket to all final table finishers.
