As a general rule the higher the card the rarer it is. The top 10 finishers in the Gold Card 500 win cash prizes. First place wins $500, right down to tenth place who wins $110. Cake gives away $2.5K every month in Gold Card 500 prizes, which translates to $130K per year.
Freerolls
Cake Poker offers $1500 a week in freeroll tournaments for their players. Every Saturday there is the $500 new depositor’s freeroll, which all new depositors get one free ticket into. There is also the $1K Bankroll Freeroll every week, which you must win entry into by playing in the daily Bankroll Freeroll satellites. This equals out to $78K per year that Cake Poker offers in freerolls.
Gold Chip Giveaways
As your earn FPP’s you will earn gold chips. The more FPP’s you earn in a month, the faster they turn into gold chips. The first gold chip you earn in a month takes 120 FPP’s to reach and this amount decreases until the 7th and more only take 70 FPP’s. You can use your gold chips in the Cake Poker shop to purchase Cake gear, tournament tickets, gaming systems and more. Gold chips can also be used to purchase a seat in many of Cake Poker’s bigger events. For example, 650 gold chips will buy you into the $100K guaranteed or 1100 gold chips will gain you entrance to the $250K guaranteed. Gold chips are valued at approximately $0.25 a piece when you look at the amount of chips it takes to buy-into a Cake Poker event.
